I’m really into smoothies right now as they are great for the mornings when I am running late for work (always), serve as a great snack in between boot camp and volleyball and I even sometimes have them for dinner when I don’t have time to cook.
With most things, there are so many variations to what you can put in your smoothie, but I currently love this combination of goodies that is packed with nutrients and keeps me filled up.
My obsession with organizing comes in to play with my smoothies because I like to pre measure all of the ingredients and get them into their own containers so I don’t have to worry about it when I am rushing around in the morning. That way I know exactly what my serving sizes are and how much sugar, cholesterol, carbs, etc I am taking in. On the weekends I stock up on fresh berries (blackberries, rasberries, blueberries and strawberries) wash everything, cut them up (strawberries only), measure them out into little baggies and freeze them.
