I think I have said it before, but I will say it again, I love holidays and Easter is no exception. Spring weather is on the horizon and it is really the first time in the year where everyone starts wear light, flowy dresses and pastels again. It’s been 4 months since a big holiday so it is nice to get the family all together again (although we are always getting together for some reason or another), eat great food, drink delicious drinks, indulge in all sorts of sweets and watch the young kids partake in the Easter Egg Hunt.
I remember growing up Easter was always at my parents’ house, everyone dressed to the nines and our Easter baskets were always very well hidden. They would be hidden on the roof, in the trees, on the side of the house and any other wacky place you could think of.
I wish I could get my hands on some old pictures of everyone…mainly to have a laugh at the hilarious late 80’s early 90’s style everyone rocked, especially all the outfits my mom meticulously picked out for me to wear.
